Back to the ceremonial grilling... You can see that the cast iron (thank you Gary!) was heated the requisite "white hot" and it did, in fact, seal in the proverbial juices. We cooked chicken breasts for two different dinners -- tonight was a simple marinade, while for tomorrow it was a chili powder rub. I'll give you, for the first of the year you might want to go big and dramatic -- say, barbeque a pterodactyl or something Flinstonian like that. Alas, we're keepin' it real -- chicken breasts it is for now. There will be plenty of time for grilling this season....which has OFFICIALLY BEGUN!! |
